Any issues with current F 250?

Do the current generation(2011-15) GAS F250s have any issues? The only downsides I can find from local folks are that the mileage sucks and they ride like a truck.

I need a newer truck to replace a couple older vehicles that aren't worth fixing due to rust issues.

My boss has a 6.2 in a 2014 f250 so far trouble free, I think it
has better power than the 6.0 and 6.4 powerjokers but the
things I don't besides its a ford is it has the same little
problems like all the ford trucks I've been in and drove, doors
shut hard, seat belters don't like going back in and tailgate
also shuts hard. It doesn't get as good as mileage as my 6,4
hemi but still does ok 13-15ish and rides worse than my
dodge, but I think the motor is good.

I have a 2014 f-250 w/6.2, got it Nov. 2013, now has 26,500 mi. on the clock, all trouble free, doesn't ride as smooth or have as good of milage as the '04 f-250 6.0 it replaced, which I put 173k on in 9 years, but I like it just the same.

P.S. getting 9-10 back-n-forth to work, 14-15 on a highway trip, and 9-10 hauling a load on my 2500lb trl.

Driving one at work 2014--- So far 80,000 miles without any problem. mileage is 13.5 or so empty and 10 to 12 depending on what I haul. Still has original rear tires and it looks like I could get 100,000 out of them.
The 6.2 has gobs of torque and the 6 speed auto with paddle shift id a joy.

It rides like a truck but hey it's a truck

I have 2, a 2011 Diesel and a 2012 Diesel both with about 90K miles. The 2012 has had zero issues, the 2011, leaking EGR cooler, exhaust thermocouple (twice) and backup sensors replaced.

I get them with the camper special, so it has stiffer sway bars, but not plow package because I think that makes the front suspension to stiff.

Thanks all. I ordered one. The big rebates run out tomorrow, with the dealer discount it is a better deal than any used truck I have seen in 6 months. With any luck it should last me 10 years.

A real truck, 6.2, 6 speed auto, locking 3.73:1, 8' bed super-cab, manual transfer case/lockouts, rubber floor, steel wheels, crank windows, integrated brake control, camper package, CNG-LP prep. The only comfort items are cloth seats, a radio, and cruise control.

Most of the dealers around here didn't understand what I wanted. The kept pushing me towards trucks with 10-20-30K in urban cowboy options. Who seriously pays $600 extra for a paint color? $400 for a stepladder in the tailgate? $700-5000 in tire/wheel options? Kept pushing towards a diesel(as you can't tow with a gasser...), which at $8500 extra will never pay its self off($1 premium on fuel doesn't help, then mix in Ford's inability to build a solid diesel)? If anyone wants info on the dealer and is in western PA, drop me a line.

If I throw a ton in the bed(will be the same weight as the tractor I have been pulling 10-12000 with) , how heavy of gravity box do you think I can pull safely on rolling hills?

You will like the camper special, no sway. I forgot to mention the 5th wheel option, it is really cheap from the factory and looks good.

We pulled 18 foot tandem silage boxes with a dodge
2500 and 360 one summer, northwest Crawford county.
I like at least a power passenger window but you
have to get a lot of other stuff to get them.

(quoted from post at 12:52:46 02/03/15) Does the gravity box have brakes on it?

None that I presently have are equipped with brakes. I have been watching for a gear that does, or looking at a retrofit of one that I have.
