Estimated cost to ship TLB?

I"m planning on purchasing a Tractor Loader Backhoe and shipping it 610 miles. It"s about 17 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 10 feet tall. It weighs in at 7,000 pounds. It runs good and can move itself onto a trailer. I"m flexible on timeframe. What"s a good estimate for transporting it 610 miles?

Well it would help if we knew what model it is. Unless it is an old hoe it will weight more than 7,000. Most hoes made in the last 15 years are figured to weight about 15-17,000. If you want it right away it will cost more than if you have time. I wouldn't do it for less than $2.00 per mile. I haul machinery all the time. Just dropped a Massey 4725 or such in PA and cost was $2.00 for about 550-600 miles. Legal load. If this should get into permits for height or width then it would be more.

Try hauling schedule on left side of forum if someone is in your area it might help .Anything under $2.00 a loaded mile is good. Most semis get about the price of diesel per loaded mile. Most have a $500 minimum.
