Cb mounts in 03 dodge 2500

I recently purchased a 03 Dodge. My question is it has floor cup holders and is a 5 speed with the old but good style 4wd. im trying to install a cb with outh butchering it up, id love to see pics and hear ideas where to put it. thanks in advance Ed

Check out this one, it's easy enough to make yourself instead of spending that much money for one.

whats overhead? lmc might have a overhead counsel to mount it in, i always liked them overhead as that what we did in the big trucks and i was used the that

om my 97 dodge it has a small overhead console with a little bin and a couple of lights I found a small C.B. and mounted it under the overhead console I had to drill holes in it but no major hacking needed,I just modified the bracket the radio came with so it would sit up nice and close

i have a 99 w/ 5 speed , i cut a piece of paneling or any thin wood would work , mounted the CB bracket to it, so it stands up behind shifter/ cup holder plastic on floor leaning on seat & tied it around center seat section ,looks & works fine not blocking view , easy to reach mines been there 14 years now , run antena wire under seat , and put a lighter plug on power wire , pluged in to lower power port , of coures this will only work if the center seat section is not movable like mine is , only my seats move not the center arm rest / console

Here's how I did it on my '05 - Hooked up powere and ran antenna lead as 'jasinpa' said -
