We had our first hydraulic dovetail on order from Brute in 2009. That took about an extra 4 weeks over what they promised. WE bought a second one in September of 2012 and got it on time. We haul up to 3 tractors (JD 4440's with no trouble. We have had others (PJ, Loadmax) no one compares to a Brute.
 
I got a PJ 24 foot low profile with dovetail and three ramps in late 2012. In Oct. of 2013 they sent me a card saying they could retrofit it with a hydraulic dove tail. I looked it up on their site and the hydraulic dove add 1,100 lbs to the weight of trailer. The trailer is a 14,000 lb trailer and empty it weighs 4,200 lbs and adding another 1,100 would bring up 5,300 lbs. ( cuts into what you can haul} not prattle on a 14,000 lb trailer.
 

Been searching for several years and finally Ordered a P.J. 30 ft lo-pro GN in late November.
They issued a vin # & serial on 12/30/13 with a arrival of early Feb. Hope they deliver.lol.
Its 22400 gvw, 20ft with 10 ft dove. trailer weighs 7800 lbs with dove,wrench,hyd jacks, solar,
two tool box, chain hanger, light bar.
My worry is will my 09 2500 H.D. Duramax handle it.
Main use will be transporting my Play tractors to shows.14000 lbs max.

It'll be a load on it in my opinion.

I had an 06 2500 Dodge with the cummins. My trailer is a 25+5 weighs in at 6200 or so empty.

I put my 1066 on it once and started looking for a 3500 Dually.

The trailer alone squatted the truck pretty good. For short trips it'd be ok. If you were traveling much distance I'd think I'd want a heavier truck
 
I have a 34' Load Trail with a 10' dove tail. I have has my 580K hoe on it as the most heavy load. I had a BW, BWH, and a L. Also a 730 standard and the L. It worked very well hauling a 2 row NI pull picker with the over hang blocked up on the right side. I have a 2011 F250 crew singles 4 X 4 chipped and 5" exhaust. Just need a larger fuel tank.
