transporting a paulson loader for my ford jubilee

I bought a used Paulson loader from a tractor repair dealership. Plan to haul it with my 1974 F100. Person at the dealership gave me measurements of 5feet wide and 10 feet long. They will load it on my pick up with a fork lift. Bed of the truck is 4 feet wide inside the wheel covers. Bed a full 8 feet plus another 2 feet for the tailgate which I will put down. Wanted to know if anybody has hauled one with a 1/2 ton ford pick up.

Take it apart and it will fit no problem. It's just pins and cotter keys to get it apart, bucket, cylinders, brackets. At that point a couple tough guys can handle it.

like jon says, take it apart, to put it in the truck the truck will easily haul it that way if you cant get it apart borrow a trailer to put it on in one piece it will be much easier to load and secure most trailers either have cargo hooks or a rub rail with stake pockets to secure cargo, dont let it just sit on the truck or trailer, tie it down

if you dont mind my asking what did the loader run you? i have been looking for one for my jubilee for awhile but im out west and dont have much tractor parts in the area

Yes, I hauled a loader in the bed of a "76 Ford 1/2 ton. The one I hauled was probably a bit larger than your Paulson, but it worked good. The dealer set it in my truck with a forklift. No problems. Getting it out of the truck was a bit of a challenge, but where there"s a will, there is a way.

Like jon says- take it apart- just two pins to drop the bucket. Couple pins on each cyl, one pin on each side frame. Set the bucket in the center of the truck, set the frame upside down in the truck, can likely close the tailgate. Frame width is well under 4 feet.

Thank you for the information I will disassemble the Paulson loader. Dealer has a fork lift for putting the loader in my truck. When I reach my place my neighbor has a 6100 Kubota with a loader.

I paid $1500 for the loader. This includes the pump, pump driveshaft, hydraulic cylinders for bucks bucket cylinders for loader frame. I bought it from a tractor repair shop in Washington state. Looked all over for one and this one was on Craig list. I'll pick it up on Monday. I was unable to contact a place in Minnesota that supposedly makes them I would like to know what the going price is for a loader like the one I bought .

don't know how heavy it is, but if you can lay it in on it's side and tie it down, you can haul up to 4ft over tail gate, and hang a red flag for saftey,,,
