Rent a Trailer

I rented a U-haul car hauler once to move my Super A about 15 miles from the seller's place to my place when I bought it.

There's an independent rental place up the road from me that rents bumper pull equipment trailers. No goosenecks, though.

Yup.
Add up the time to go to U-Haul dealer, fill out the rental contract, go to where the tractor is located, load it, haul it home, unload,& take the trailer back.
If in decent running condition, probably quicker & more fun to drive it home.

15 Miles at 9.5 MPH would only take 1 hour and 40 minutes. Just stay off the main roads ad only use side roads.

Tie a string on the throttle and you can make it in an hour.

If you do rent a U Haul and your moving a tractor do not tell them your hauling a tractor. Around here if you tell them your going to haul a tractor they will not rent you a trailer.

To answer your question, a lot of trailer sales places will rent trailers. Just stop and ask, around here $50.00 a half day.
