I checked the site mentioned in the post below, "US cargo Control" and found this,

Do you think this is strong enough for a 2700 pound car. With one strap on each corner
2

i use that type with the curved ends to hold down my 8k tractors,, use 4, one at each end of tractor, never had a ny problems,, a 3k car, piece of cake...

It is as long as you don't have them so the webbing rubs on things. If your going to use straps for tie downs get the winches that fasten to the trailer. It is much easier to take up the excess strap. You can just roll it up and put in with the tight part as you tighten them up.
There is a strap set up that goes over the wheels so you don't have to try to find places to hook the strap. It would need tie downs in the floor in front of and behind the tires.

Thanks guys, I didn't order the ones in my first post, they had a black one that's more resistant to abrasion for a little more and I ordered those. Also, everybody has yellow ones so mine will be easier to identify.

Technically anything on wheels should have chains. Legally you need 4 chains and 4 binders in the state of MI. You should be able to get away with 2 straps though for the car because there working load is 3300lbs. My dad Hauls pallets and lumber and if he is only going 10 miles he don"t even strap his load down. You just got to take it easy.
