They have heaters, but that cord still zip tied should tell you that it"s not needed. Just keep good batteries in it and fix any glow plugs when they go bad.

| | Not really needed, but would be nice to be able to not have to wait a half hour for the temp to get onto the gauge before using it. When it's 20 below, cold starts are kinda hard on things. Just bought an old Isuzu Amigo, it will be getting a tank-type heater before next winter. Quite possibly why we found the cord in the first place, the one blew up, with only 100,000 on it.
