You need the following: 1) 94-up flywheel housing 2) 94-98 starter 3) proper input shaft 4) Dodge bellhousingGet the right parts and you'll be done coming here and asking questions about how to make mismatched parts match. |

| I appreciate your reply. However, we already tried a 1994 flywheel housing. The bolt pattern was incompatible. And both of our bellhousings are Dodge's. But I think we may have found a solution from a company called Diesel Specialists. They said they make the adapter plate we need; and we already changed the input shaft. |

| | They are either not Dodge/Cummins or not NV4500 bellhousings then. The smallblock uses a different pattern than the Cummins, that is a lot smaller. The NV4500 is a better trans than the G360. Not an uncommon swap in the first gen Cummins trucks. |
