Trailer Spring Rating

What is the weight rating for a single leaf mobile home spring? Just bought a trailer with apparent mobile home axles. I plan to change axles, but I'm curious about the springs. Thanks in advance for any help. doorman

2000 to 2500, that being said why change the axle? put in good bearings and lowboy rated tires and that thing will run forever we have a home made hauler with 3 of them under it after we did this that trailer has been hauling an old d-4 cat around periodically for 30 years [ the truck pulling it is a truck, a c-65 chevy]

I"m thinkin that they are rated for 5000lbs,I have a set on a gooseneck and they do fine. When used on a single axle trailer they are way too stiff, which would normaly have 2500lb springs.

Check the rating on the tires im thinking like 5000. I had a trailer with two on it. It pulled great and handled well finally ditched the axles when the lug bolts stripped in the hubs.
