What is the weight rating for a single leaf mobile home spring? Just bought a trailer with apparent mobile home axles. I plan to change axles, but I'm curious about the springs. Thanks in advance for any help. doorman |

| Check the rating on the tires im thinking like 5000. I had a trailer with two on it. It pulled great and handled well finally ditched the axles when the lug bolts stripped in the hubs. |

| I"m thinkin that they are rated for 5000lbs,I have a set on a gooseneck and they do fine. When used on a single axle trailer they are way too stiff, which would normaly have 2500lb springs. |

| 2000 to 2500, that being said why change the axle? put in good bearings and lowboy rated tires and that thing will run forever we have a home made hauler with 3 of them under it after we did this that trailer has been hauling an old d-4 cat around periodically for 30 years [ the truck pulling it is a truck, a c-65 chevy] |
