Stake pocket D rings

Has anybody used the new stake pocket D rings that PJ and Johnson Traiers use on deckover trailers. If so how do you like them?
 
It's a neat idea but I can't think of one thing I would use them for that the stake pocket would not work.
 
cdl the only thing I see good about them is the chains will only take paint off rings instead pockets and trailer side rails.
 
I own a PJ, my dad owns a PJ, nice trailers but no need to worry about scratching the paint, it will fall off on it's own. I'd much rather have conventional paint than powdercoat on a trailer.
 
No need for the fancy stake pocket style. Use bolt down or weld-on d-rings and have peace of mind that they will definitely hold, because you installed them.
