1992 Dodge Clutch Pack

We found a 1992 bell housing, and have installed a 1992 standard flywheel. We were planning to use a 13" ceramic button clutch pack but it was too big for the bolt holes on the flywheel. Apparently no one makes a 12 & 1/4" ceramic button clutch pack for a 1992 5.9 Cummins TD motor, nor does anyone make any other kind of clutch for that year model except a standard, organic OEM type. Would any of you guys know whether a CB clutch pack from another year model would bolt up and function properly without undo vibration on a 1992 motor?

Valair makes a 12" double ceramic disc setup for a 92..kinda spendy at $2600+
New Phoenix Friction makes a single disc 12 1/4" ceramic clutch set for $335 good for 330hp and 625 Ft # torque 732-667-7937

Sign up at the DTRF, I put the link in your last question. If no one there knows where to find something, chances are it can't be found.

Wait, I went back to your other post, why did you change the flywheel? It's the flywheel housing that you needed to change! The part that bolts to the block, before the flywheel goes on the crank, that the bell housing bolts to.

We changed the flywheel to a 1992 flywheel because we discovered that the motor is a 1992. That's also why we changed to a 1992 bell housing.

The 92's came with a getrag, I didn't think the g-rag and nv4500 would take the same bellhousing, all the guys at the DTRF use the 4500 bellhousing and the flywheel housing off the 94-up trucks. Other than the bolt holes being different that you found, a B series is a B series is a B series for the most part. You have to match the flywheel housing and bellhousing, for pre-94 and 94-up.

I have a south bend clutch in my 99 Ford and have had great luck with it. Not sure if the make what your looking for but worth a shot. Prices seem pretty good too.
