I have an old 4" wide flat belt driven table saw. The table has a fence will & tilt for angle cuts & will take up to a 20inch blade.Made by DUREX Chicago , model no 5. Its big, heavy & may have been used on building site its on factory skids, motor/engine can be mounted on frame between skids. Searched for info but nothing comes up on DUREX anyone have info? Thanks

You might try Vintagemachinery.org I took a quick look and didn't see Durex listed, but they may have something there if you look around.

X2 for vintagemachinery.org! If you do not see a listing there or you want more info go ahead and email Keith Rucker who runs the site (there shouod be a contact form). He runs a youtube channel and is an active volunteer at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and he will be interested. Nice machine!

Yeah, thats a good idea! With a 20 inch blade think this old saw would be good for sawing logs. Tried searches & nothing showed up on DUREX...may have been bought out by some other company or was never big enough to rate getting into books, its built to last.
