I made this little tool and it worked really well. Can you guess what I used it for? The wire is about 2 feet long.

hard to judge the size. cap looks like a valve stem cap, so my guess is installing tubeless valve stems (using CWAG method of reasoning)

Kinda looks like one of these? Darn handy when you need to get that tube in without pinching your little piddies.;)

I used it to fish the valve stem of a tube in a wide tire. It might work good to pull a tubeless valve stem in too like jonin said. It only takes a few minutes to make.

Hello RLP in CO,

Here is mine. There is another type that has a 3/8 rod with notches and a swivel head with the air fitting adapter. The notch would go at the rim as leverage to pop the valve in. I don't know how the hose reel got in there?

Dad used to have one like that for fishing inner tube valves into place and holding them while airing. It was really handy becuase you could air up the tube without removing the puller. The fitting on the end had a valve stem in it to open an air chuck and passed it through to the other side. Wish I knew where to get another one.
