Electric alarm clock with battery back up

Looking for a Electric clock with battery back up that shows time during power outages. Do they sell a electric clock that shows actual time when power goes off?

I have NEVER seen an alarm clock that would show the time when power was out. I think why is the battery just would not have the power to do that and keep time. I have how ever found that many on battery back up either gain or loose some time

Usually most electric alarm clocks will start flashing the time, if, you just remove the battery.

I keep one in my office to show the time of momentary power loss.
It will start to flash the time when the power goes off, and then needs reset to current time because the battery has been removed.

Might shoose an older style, though.

We have a LaCrosse Technology atomic clock with remote temp sensor. It runs solely on battery power. However, I don't think it has an alarm. Would be awkward to set if it did.

Might be able to look for a battery-powered clock that is either easy to adjust and set time, or automatically updates the time to be very accurate.

I just use my old flip phone. It's super easy to set, has very loud alarm, and adjusts the time from cell signal (when it's in town - can't get much of a signal here!). I think there can be 6 different times for alarms to go off on this thing. Can also set it for 10 minute snooze.

I have had several that plug into the wall, but have a battery back-up to keep the time during an outage. They use a 9V battery as a back-up. this one on amazon uses AAA batteries.

How about a battery powered digital alarm clock that doesn't need to be plugged in? Some of those will run for more than a year on a 9 volt or a couple AA batteries & keep very accurate time.

I've never had one that displayed the time while the power was off. You could plug an alarm into a small Uninterruptible Power Supply.

Got one on my night stand. I could not tell you how old it is.

I have a Timex battery alarm clock that we have had for 15 years and runs a full year or longer on 1 C cell battery. This clock has been all over the country and used to get me up when I worked.

We have two clock radios that do. They aren't digital, they're analog. One's an expensive one (Tivoli Audio) the other is a cheap Big Ben (not sure if that one is still made, we got it about ten years ago).

WHY does it have to plug in at all?

I have one of these on my nightstand, two "AA" batteries last a couple of years, and it keeps itself set accurately from the NIST time standard radio station.

Probably not what you are looking for but my cell phone has a clock... or many, alarm, timer etc. It generally keeps charged 15-24 hours depending on how I use it.
Mine is an iPhone, but they all have the app.

Warning. Extremists in Congress are defunding the radio stations that provide that time. Millions of such devices will become obsolete next year - in part because so many vote for these extremists.

I had one, I think if you pressed one of the buttons it would show the time when the power was out.

Cell phone usually has multiple options for the bell. A man's voice in your bedroom I've found to be an effective wake-up call.
