Trail cameras

Requesting some information and advice on trail cameras. I am not really interested in game, more for human traffic when I am away from my property in the country. Thanks , Murray

I have 2 set up right now. One is owned by one of my hunters and the other I own. The one I have I got at Wal-mart and is there cheapest one. Does the job just fine and uses one of those real small memory cards. You can look at what ever pictures it took on a screen it has on it or pull the card and use a phone or computer to see them.

Put two of them out. The first one to get the pictures you want and a second one hidden to get pictures of whoever steals the first one.

We have 2 Bushnells, they are supposedly the same, one works better than the other. They take 1000-2000 pictures a week, takes awhile to look at them! The date is not necessarily right, we don't always set it. The cat in the second picture is a big bobcat, we have an occasional mountain lions in our area but we haven't gotten a picture of one yet.

I own 28 trail cameras that I use on the farm for that reason.Make sure you have cameras hind that will view the other cameras. In some states you need to have a sign posted saying you have cameras up if you wish to use pictures in court. I use rechargeable battery's during warm weather but not cold weather as they don't hold up well. The black out cameras don't flash a bright light but give off a red glow at night.I reuse the sd cards once I viewed them.

I replaced my StealthCam brand camera that got stolen with a Bushnell that cost half as much. I was extremely pleased to discover that the cheaper camera takes better pictures than the expensive one did.

I very much enjoy deer hunting and doing a garden and cooking. I have some 23 deer stands set up on my place

Very good- I enjoy those things too. Thats alot of stands...for 2 cameras. You must have good deer hunting on your land. I love it also.

Russ- those Bushnell pics look pretty good. How much did they run you? Need to buy a few to spread out on my bow stands.

In the 38 years of living here I learned one cannot be in the right place at the right time often so I put up a lot of stand so that I can move around a bit to be in the right place more often. By the way I have 44 acres and most of it is hill/mountain. Also have 3 caves and at least 3 springs

Ain't that right. I have about 15 stands up, looking to put in another 5 before Oct. Hunting about 100 acres wooded.
