I have a RotoZip Revolution, Model: Revo1, Type 1, 120 ACV. This tool predates the sellout / takeover of RotoZip by Bosch thus no parts are available. The integrated switch and speed control on this tool no longer works. The integrated switch and speed control is part of a printed circuit board assembly. I discovered some wires that separated from the circuit board and speed control selector. The separated wires are beyond my soldering skills to repair. The motor has carbon brushes and motor windings similar to a corded drill. Can I bypass the speed control circuit board, and direct wire the switch to bring this tool back to life, although only single speed. Thanks in advance.
