Motor rotation more info

So I pulled the old dead motor out of where it was. This it he info it had on it
HP 6SPL HZ60
V 230 PH 1
RPM 3450 Code J
A 15.00 SF1.0
AMB 40C FR 56
Non reversible motor compressor duty
While most of what it says I understand but some I do not. I also has nothing on it as to which way it turned so that still is no help. I know the 6SPL and the A at 15 does not fit it being a true 6 HP motor. The AMB 40C means nothing to me. Code SF and FR also mean nothing to me. Compressor it self has no tags or other such info on it. Only thing I found was a number cast into the cylinder block but did not write it down.
So does this help you help me??

Found 2 composer duty motors in the surplus center catalog.
Item 10-3025 Marathon brand motor 5HP 19.6 amps 230 volts CCW 3450RPM $179.95 or
Item 10-2621 U.S. Motors brand 5HP, 230 volts, 22.5 amps CCW 3450 RPM. $238.95

So which is the better brand and most likely to out live me??
Thanks

HP 6SPL means 6 horsepower special application
V 230 PH1 means 230volt ac single phase
RPM 3450 Code J means 3450 rpm shaft speed - 7.1 to 7.99 kVa per HP locked rotor
A 15.0 SF1.0 means 15 amps Service Factor 1 which is 100%
AMB 40C FR56 is the Ambient Temperature Rise 40 degrees Celsius Frame Style 56 (mounting plate welded to case)

I found this description for such a motor:

Brand new 5 HP 230 volt compressor duty electric motor. This motor features a 56 frame with a 7/8" diameter shaft and is 3450 RPM. This is a non-reversible motor and features counter-clockwise (CCW) rotation facing the shaft. This is a high quality motor designed to handle and withstand the startup load of a compressor pump but will also work with many other applications. Wiring diagram is listed on the side of the motor for reference. Below is a full list of specifications.

Another way to determine rotation is to look at the fan blades cast into the compressor pulley. They should rotate in a direction to blow air over the compressor. Hope this helps.

We have had real good luck with US motors on the farm and at work, but nothing wrong with the marathon either. If it's just occasionall use go with the marathon.

I know the compressor rotation by way of the arrow on the fan/pulley. I also understand the V and AMP etc. but the SF and AMB where thing I did not understand.

I don't use it often but when I need it I want it to work. I bet in a years time it will not get 40 hours on it. But it would be nice to be able to use my air tools again and not have to sit and wait for the compressor to catch up so often. What I have been getting by with has ben a pain. It is slow to build pressure and runs out of PSI fast but it was given to me and I pretty much have it rigged to get me by
