I was told that Liquid Combustion Technology bought all but the transmission line of Tecumseh. I know they have lots of carburetors, and carburetor parts. I don't know what else. So far I have been able to get everything I wanted (Except for HH70 piston rings and a plunger for an early point-type setup, I forget the model number) from my Tecumseh supplier.

I would think your local small engine shop should have a source for what Tecumseh parts are available.

"I need parts"

That's a pretty silly generic request, IMHO, our generous hosts don't charge by the word, and the more info you provide the more likely someone can help you!

Figure out the part number(s) of what you need, and GOOGLE them, likely someone will have what you need, and you can shop for the best price.

On the other hand, if it's an obsolete flathead engine, it mite be worth your time vs. the cost of parts to swap it out to a modern OHV engine from Briggs and Scrapiron, Honda, Kohler, or even "Horror Freight".

(quoted from post at 18:37:55 08/17/18) I need parts for a Tecumseh 18 Hp engine who is the successor as they are out of business.

Tecumseh was never actually out of business AND NO the EPA was not the of cause to stop building engines..

CPC bought the company back in 2009 from Platinum Equity Advisors LLC and one of its former employees, Rudolf Strobl, President of TECUMSEHPOWER. PEA and Strobl did not turn over all of the small engine assets to CPC. So they have been battling it out in court ever since until Sept 2017 when CPC was awarded the judgement. They soon made the following announcement.

** Grafft continued, “While we were pleased with the judgment results, we were just as eager to put the intellectual property to use in bringing back engines into production that were long staples in the snow thrower, generator and lawn and garden markets. We are excited to return some of these engines to their former glory under their trademarked names of “TECUMSEHPOWER, Lauson and Snow King.” **

===========

So hopefully now that the dust has finally settled on the crock of BS created by Platinum Equity and Rudolf Strob. CPC can get down to business and get back to work building Tecumseh engines again.
