Got a couple of generators on a sale close to me. One is a Winco CSA30PTOC-3/B and the other is a Winco 25PTOC-3/E. Any pros-cons about either. Looks like they are pretty old. Anything to look for?

I have a Winpower 25/15, which means it's rated at 25KW intermittent, and 15KW continuous. It's a good unit. I think Winco took over/replaced/bought out Winpower?

I have always liked their units. Good solid reliable units. Not well known and small company. But people you can talk to.

I'd check that they are 1800 rpm units. We have another brand and it is 3600 rpm and the gearbox on those screams going from 540 up to 3600 !

Winco bought them out in the 05 time frame. Both of them are very good rugged machines. As with any generator....don't go over the ratings.

Yes, they bought out Winpower. I have the same unit as yours, bought new in 1977. Always works, never a repair.
