More body panel shaping for the 52 Chevy

I made the cab front sidewalls this weekend. Here is the drivers side. I test fit it to the fender and also the cowl support that I made a few weeks ago. I am doing away with the side vent. In 1952 Chevy stopped putting side vents on the trucks. Why this truck has one I don't know. As you can see the side panel on the truck is in pretty rough shape. The long vertical dent is from the door edge hitting it. The whole door hinge pillar is twisted. Must have backed into something with the door open or the wind caught the door.

nice work--- wish I had some of that talent -- I am redoing a 54 chevy and hiring it done is costly -- keep us posted on the progress -- love to see how someones talent progresses -- Roy

I love the fab work your doing. I watch it being done on the restoring car shows. I would like to buy a cheap shrinker to play with. I would only use it to see what I could do. I have to many projects that wouldn't require it that will never get done now as it is.

I have the Harbor Freight english wheel, shrinker-stretcher and bead roller. The bead roller I beefed up, motorized and made additional die sets. I have a couple of metal brakes, many body hammers, dollies and sand bag. I learned how to do this watching You Tube videos and just trial and error.

You are truly a gifted artist!

I would like to see some of the highly acclaimed and grossly over paid "artists" try to do what you are doing!
