Chicago Pneumatic IW 5104 Impact Wrench Seal

I have a Chicago Pneumatic impact wrench that I am rebuilding. I need a front seal for it, but can't find any parts diagram for it in order to get the part number. On the identification plate it says that it is a IW 5104. A seal for a CP 734 won't fit as it has a smaller outside diameter than the bore of the nose of the wrench. I have search all over the internet and can't find any reference to the model that I have. Any help finding a seal would be appreciated.

I like harbor freight but they don't really have support for their tools. If you can't use a generic part you probably will just have to get a new one. I try to replace tools with the same model and save the old ones for parts.

Thanks for the reply but it's a Chicago Pneumatic not the Central Pneumatic that Harbor Freight sells. From what I read Harbor Freight created quite a confusion when they chose the Central Pneumatic name for their line of tools. You right about having to buy a new one if I can't find a generic seal though.

"IW 5104" is not a valid Model Number.

Chicago Pneumatic model numbers start with [b:00a68d470b]CP[/b:00a68d470b].
Example.. CP5104, CP726, CP999 etc etc.

Could be the reason that you can not find parts or parts diagrams for your impact wrench.

If it is a typical lip type seal, should be able to find one using the measurements, or if there is a number on the seal itself.

Metric seals will have a number like "10x19x7" which would mean 10mm shaft, 19mm bore, 7mm wide.

They can be bought online, or go by a bearing supply, see if they can match it.

Thank you for the reply. That's the strange part. It has CP on the wrench housing like it should. It has a plate on the back that says
Chicago Pneumatic, Air Wrench, IW5104, Serial Number 7056A006, Made in the United States, U.S. Patent NO. 3,174,597, CA. PATD. 1964. The
IW 5104 is in the same location where you would find a model number such as CP734 on a newer model. All the parts of a CP734 are identical
and interchangeable except the front seal. It's an old one so maybe it was a model preceding a CP model designation or it was made for a
different company. Looks like I am of to a bearing house to find a seal like Steve@Advance suggested.
