Another whatzit from FIL's farming days. Milk cooler is my guess. Oriole Farm Cooler made by Cherry Burell Corp. I don't think it's complete. The V-shaped pan on the right has a row of small holes in the bottom.

Yes it's part of a milk cooler but the rack is missing. The big pan sits on a rack on the wall with the V shaped trough under the valve. The holes in the trough allows the milk to dribble down over the cooling rack with cold water running through it. The the milk enters the other trough with the big hole, then flows into a milk can. This setup instantly cooled the milk. I used one for years when I sold jug milk.
