Washing machine update

I never did find out for sure if it would have been a belt drive but a direct drive. And if I would have been able if was a belt drive with bad belt then I would have called a service man. But if direct drive that I expected would not have been worth fixing. My health I could not even tip it on its back to see if I could do anythin to see the problem. I bought the cheapest model I could find. And even with dials it has way more junk on it than it should have. You do not find that out untill you have it set and get the manuak given to you when delivery guys are leaving. It should do me tho and I did buy the warenty. I figure what if I went to laundry mat that what it would have cost over 6 months it would have equaled what I paid for the machine so with the warenty I should be guarenteed a machine for 3 years and at cost of coin machine would have paid in 6 or 8 months max.

replaced the timer motor on ours - worked for a few months - died again and got a Samsung scratch n dent model now. Bigger tub. no agitator. Glass/plastic lid. chimes to you when done. I look at it as a tool - like a mixer would be a tool for the kitchen - and if it were my drill press, or one of the saws, it'd be replaced as soon as I could afford it. On the washer, we're 10 miles from the nearest laundermat, so my turn-around on rent-a-load vs. buy-a-machine would be sooner than yours, likely.

I am 7 miles away. In a few months might not have a need for one anymore As I will be unless something I cannot see happens I will be having to move and probably not be able to take it with me.
