Tool....Maybe?

I can't remember where I got this and I have no idea what it is....or...if it's really a tool.
I hesitated to post it because it has a medical instrument look to it and I may not really want to know what it is! LOL
It does not appear to be designed to inject, but rather to relieve pressure. In the disassembled picture you can see the tiny O-ring
at the end of the point which would allow something to enter the "tool" when the point is pushed in.
No mfgr's name anywhere!

I suspect you are on the right track with both tool and medical device. I think it is a canula (hope the spelling is right) and is used to relieve the pressure of bloat (gas pressure) in the stomach of, usually, dairy cows. If I remember rightly, (long time now) it is inserted into the left side between the ribs and hip bone. Seems a bit crude but bloat is deadly and fast given the right feed conditions.

Man, that's gotta hurt!! And....stink!! LOL
Thanks for identifying it for me....another mystery solved.

I have two of those magnetic pills used for "hardware disease".

I used to use them for checking for "bondo" on old cars I was buying.
