If the lube pump is bad are going bad will that cause the tractor not to move forwards are in reverse no matter what gear? Everything else works just fine. I don't know if anyone has heard of the dipstick test but it didn't pass.

If you are talking about the "lube pump" that picks up oil from the engine oil pan and lubes the engine it has nothing whatever to do with the tractor moving no matter what gear, forward or reverse, (unless it's NOT working and the engine seizes up)!

I'm sorry, I'm talking about the transmission lube pump.

You need to get a manual for your tractor. Some tractors have a pump that pressurizes a clutch for forward or reverse, others have a clutch for high and low range and even the PTO. So yes it can cause it to not move.
