these? Started in the 90's, got about 50 and
quit. I know, no value then or now, just saw
one was interesting to me. Oh well, perhaps in
decades?

I never did but I bought a bunch of them for my son. I collected baseball cards from around 58, 9 and 60 and my mother never threw them out although she threatened. Plus I bought a bunch for my son and me about 20 years ago and their boxed up somewhere around here.

Back in the early 50s, we used to have a guy who came to the farms out in the country. He had a step van truck and once a week he showed up at the farm and sold bread and other food stuffs. He also sold TOPPs bubble gum which came wrapped in a flat package and contained pictures of airplanes. I had most of the 200 offered. I have no idea where they wound up.
TOPPs airplane cards.

Bought a few construction models and they had a Mercedes mb trac and a new holland tv140 that?s about all the ones of matchbox I have

You need to meet my Supervisor.. lol

He has over 850,000.. YES 850,000 baseball cards that date from the 50's to the early 90's boxed up and in albums in his office..

His wife will not let him keep them at home so he stored them in his office.. I do not know how many boxes that hold 5000 cards each stuffed in the colsets and rest room.

I'm older than I thinked, remembered all those guys, recognized most of them before reading the cards...............................................gtm

Like every thing else I got I probably kept these cards twenty years after they were worth something, even got three or four pages of these really old duffers, even found some football cards, about a half dozen Bart Stars, that's getting back in your hay days isn't it. Who's Bob Feller?

I see prices for Bob Feller cards from $5 to $4500. Maybe you kept them too long? Who knows but I venture a guess that you have a pretty valuable collection. Nice job!

Kids, That one Mickey Mantel card was my favorite so it's pretty dog eared. The all-star card is one of about five I got of him.

I collect them. Mainly Matchbox trucks, tractors, construction equipment.

You are right. No value, except to me! I don't collect with expected value in mind any way.

If you think about it Hot Wheels has held the price at 99 cents for decades now. I see new old Hot Wheels sell for two bucks each at Raceway Park swap meet . So the guy was actually doubling his money on each sale. Certain Hot Wheels Like J C Whitney Volkswagen sell for 50 bucks .
