Tool of the day

Someone posted pictures of tools that were modified to suit so I thought I would show some of mine both home made and modified. In the first picture the 4 on the right are store bought Distributor wrenches, the rest were modified to suit notice the right angle pliers. The last 2 pictures were home maid lift bolts and a slide hammer to pull bushings I made other attachments for the slide hammer as well (not shown). the socket welded to the bar stock was to hold a nut still, while turning a screw in the center I think made while replacing Macpherson struts on a Mopar. The lift bolts had to come home after Osha entered the work place. When I first started work in the late 60's we were able to use home made lift bolts and rope slings I remember going to the tool crib and getting a length of rope then tie a square not in it to form a sling. When people say Osha is a PITA, ya they are somewhat right but it was also needed they just go to far with some things.

Almost every thing in the top picture looks like it came out of my tool box except the red handle bent pliers.

Here are some factory "specialty" wrenches.....some look a lot like yours.

I know what a couple are for having owned a few flat head and Y-block Fords over the years. The rest I'm not sure.
