Hello,

This tool came in handy doing frame work. Drilling; Grinding,
Welding... the good old days?

Looks like that one could use some TLC.

I have about 3, I think - 2 fairly cheap, and one made by Mitsutoyo. The Mitsutoyo is on a 24" Starrett scale.

Got 2 of 'em. One is made by PEC and the other is exactly like yours(don't remember the brand, haven't used it in years).

Now you need the rest of the attachments, the square head and the centering head. Mine are Starrett.

Hello kcm,

That is normal, 23 years in an unheated garage will do that to you too! HE! HE!

Guido.

Guido, clean that thing up and apply a little oil... that hurts my eyes... used this and it's attachments in precision alignment years ago... good accurate tool.

I bought a Brown and Sharpe set when I was an apprentice around 1968. Rarely used the protractor and never used the centering head at work. I use them more since I retired.

Hello Mike(NEOhio),

Two minutes cleaning it up. It will get back to NORMAL in about 6 months. Light plays trick also,

Guido.

Hello Dr sportster.

Thumb screws are on the opposite side. See the holes?

Guido.

Hello flembo,

No not really. Only 5 % on here are older then I am. It's good for show and tell now!
