The IRS never calls, they send papers in the mail. Probably some scam artist try to seperate you from your money. The
IRS will tell to hang up if your get a call from someone claiming to be them.

I have had several calls in the last couple of weeks. I expect to "Get arrested by the cops" (their words) any day now.

Oh you shouldn’t have hung up on them. Now You should be expecting a helicopter to drop down by your house and men in black swarming out. LOL I wish we could direct a helicopter with the men in black to the caller’s location.

Haven't had any calls from the IRS lately, now it's Micro Soft telling me my computer license has expired, so be it don't care anymore, my standard response is get laid.

You should have been polite and politically correct and gave them your SSN, Birthdate, Credit Card Number, Address and mothers maiden name GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE lol

(quoted from post at 17:54:20 02/23/18) I got a phone call from the IRS today.
I hung-up on them.

I have had a few of those calls..one even left a message on my answering machine. For those who are savvy to these scams its only necessary to hang up the phone. But what gets me is there are so many who get taken in by these scammers.

The IRS tells you that they write to you at the address on your 1040 if they have any problems with your submissions. I have had a few
such benign (questions answered) conversations with them and all were via USPS. You know, if crooks would use their intellectual (well
some of them...not all) expertise at gainful employment no telling what they could come up with to aid mankind. But for a lot of them it's
the thrill of it and making 500 bucks in a couple hours work and then being free to do as they choose the rest of the week.
