Just a thoght I had. Do you think a Chinese farmer or mechanic complains about made in USA tools as much as some here complain about made in China tools.

The only USA tools they probably ever see were left there during the war. WW2. Funny, We were allies back then.
I bet they can't get warranty service on them either.
They probably get by with about half of what even the average USA DIYer has in their tool box. (And I'm not counting having to have SAE AND Metric.) If it breaks, probably the village blacksmith welds it back together.

American farmers cuss them and deny using them, but a lot of the complainers have nothing better.

I doubt if many have ever seen an American made tool.
I read these comments and cannot help but wonder how many of the folks commenting have ever spent any time in China or just believing what out news media shows us. Seven trips with over 23 months over the past 10 years. What we are let to believe about over there is at best slanted and just some complete untruths. The country folks (farmers) are not as poor or unsatisfied with their life as our folks would have us believe. Three years ago the government actually paid for about half the cost of a (are you ready for this) Buick vehicle for the farmer. O course it was built there but still on us patens .
USA General Electric builds a lot of power plants in China. If they still use Snap On and Williams tools like they do in New York, a bet a few a winding up in Chinese hands.
China makes some great quality stuff as well as bad. I assume many native Chinese people know which stuff is the good stuff.
