Read the reviews, but who knows how
true they are. Hope someone on
here has real life experience with
em. My DeWalt xrp 18 volts last
about 2 years. Maybe 500 charge
cycles. We usually have 15-20
batteries and use em alot!

Tried a couple of Ryobi's from Ebay.

Labeled Ryobi, but closer inspection revealed otherwise.

Neither worked, easier to trash than try to deal with the a holes that sold them!

Just my .02 - May want to look at rebuilding them. I know I have a local battery shop that dismantles those and replaces the cells with a much better cell and they warranty them. Have had great luck with that. I think there are a few folks on ebay that offer that service as well. You just send them yours and they rebuild them but some just swap you with already rebuilt ones.

I have picked up 18v lithium batteries, but you need the charger as well. lighter and last a while. You may also want to look at the adapter kit to run 20v batteries.

ordered some off ebay for my 14 volt dewalt and they did just ok. Older well used drill see worn in that. new battery's would fall out now and then. Only held a charge for a week or so at first. Now must charge before each use. These were note used every day, more like every 10-15 days. I think the falling out had more to do with a worn drill than bad case on the new battery's. For no more than I use mine I would buy them again. If I used them every day either use a reputable rebuilder or get new dewalt. Just my opinion.
