Think the saw is a Mc Culloch Pro Mac 55. So many of them look so much alike. Like the big old whip saw bolted to it. Have you ever gone to this site. Chainsaw Collectors Corner. It is out of Canada. Every cotton picking chainsaw ever made is on there. Just tons of information.

Hello Loren,

I hope you like sleeping in hay. You got beat in the barn?

Guido.

And a lot of the info is correct. Some of it is wrong, things like displacement differences between the Mac 250 and 300, etc. Great site, and my hat if off to Mike for creating it. But there are errors that need correcting.

Loren, I have a couple of the Super Pro and Pro Mac 700's, and I did have a Super Pro 800. Those are some of the best old saws there are, I still love to use them, even though I have newer saws.
