Finally got to play with the bigger toy on the snow blower, opened up parents lane, then played in front of my home a bit.

That front mount looks slick, wouldn't need to worry about hitting a rabbit around here, coyotes got them, haven't seen one in fifteen or twenty years, they used to be thick.

We had a TON of rabbits last summer here in southeastern Michigan! Had some coyote hunters clear them out a coupla years ago. (The coyotes that is..)

Mom insisted I take the muffin for clearing the lane, I never argue with mom when it comes to sweet treats. In summer it's an ice cream bar after mowing the yard too..

That looks so fantastic and I will bet you get all warm and fuzzy when you run it don't you? Wahooo!!! Here is the Gravely Commercial C-10 that I have. That thing on the front is a real dog eater. No guards, no shields, and built out of sheet steel not heating ducts like todays stuff. OSHA would have a cow if somebody tryed to sell this thing now. You should see this thing blow! Snow doesn't even hit the ground, it just dissipates in the air. Makes it's own snow storm. Isn't it fun to play with real big toys!

That would be hard on critters too! Needs a flag on front, the old ATV flag on mine I use to see which way the wind is blowing so I can aim the spout as needed. Helps keep the windows clear, or in your case would help keep the snow from blowing down your neck! I used to get a lot down my neck using dad's rear mount blower on a cab-less tractor..

They also sell those flags at wallie word to mount on bicycles. I have one mounted on my CUB tractor and a SMV placard on the rear for driving down the road. That whole rig will be so pretty when you get around to shooting the snow blower with Orange paint.

That Grvavely looks like a tough built rig. looks like it would be nasty to operate.
As for cyotes around here , there are plentifull. We hear them often,at times very close to the buildings. clint

This used to be my go to machine up until a couple years ago. Lengthened the brackets on the blower, and hooked it to my loader with a couple pieces of chain. I had a belt to my hydraulic pump on one groove on the clutch pulley and the blower belted to the other groove on the pulley. I could raise it up a couple feet and do almost any snowbank and then work my way down. It works great.........except for the snow down your neck!

I ran across this last spring and thought, O my, that looks nice!!
A 1998 with 287 hours on it. Heater with 2 speed fan, front blade, Mmmm Mmmm, wondermus. It came home with me. I put a 3 point blade on it that I already had and makes a nice setup. I've used it 3 times in the last two weeks. I do other jobs beside my own and it sure is fun.
