Illinois Disability

I need to ask for a family member. How does one go about applying for partial/disability in the state of Illinois?

Far as I know stop into the social services joint. You might also want to talk to your doctor because HE will need to file the most important paper work. Also type into the internet just what you put as a header on this thread. It should pop right up.

Go to your Social Security office and talk to them they should be able to tell you what needs to be done.

Figure out exactly what needs to be done and follow the instructions to the letter. Most delays or rejections are because the paperwork wasn't done correctly rather than because the person didn't qualify.

Your family member's doctor knows the procedure. You do now getting on Illinois disability is like winning the lottery.

I would think disability should be a federal thing. If you are looking to get money out of Illinois as broke as they are you probably need a really good lawyer. It's likely to be a knife fight.

Disability is through Social Security after you have exhausted your own long term disability one year here in MA go to Social Security Office or online you need documentation from your doctor and medical history.
