bought in flea market....it is missing something under air filter that mount to carb.....how do i find part diagram for saw to see whats
missing...thanks for any input..............dewy

I haven't found much online for Stihl parts, just basic consumables, nothing major.

Probably end up going to a dealer, they can show you a parts breakdown.

There are parts breakdowns for the 028 at many places on the Net. I had not trouble finding them to order parts for my 028.
Here is one in German but there are plenty around in English too.

A neighbor of mine was going to throw an 028 away. He had taken it to the dealer to fix, they wanted $ 180 for a new carb. Local saw repair shop sold me a kit for the carb for $8 and suggested i replace the points with a Nova elec. chip $12. It's a great little saw, starts 2nd pull every time..
