Primary purpose is to create blood blisters between the thumb and index finger.
Can also pull nails. I have a couple around here somewhere.

Mine was a more generic version. Bought it some 30+ years ago. Don't even know if I still have it anywhere. ....And really don't care!

Used to tear down used pallets and rebuild them, then take to Houston and sell. Ended up being much better to simply cut the nails with recip saw (sawzall) and go from there. Those spiral shank nails flat can hold the wood together!!

They do work. Leave a dent in the wood. Take the metal cover fron a junction box and stick it under the curved part

Have one. Hangs on garage wall. Love when people ask what it is. Amish store in Clare Mi. still sells them.

I have one as well , found it at the scrapyard and cleaned it up a little . I have used it so many times and it has never failed to wrench out the worst rusted in nails from Australian gum . It has certainly saved my wrists and elbows over the years .

I once told my toddler daughter that it was for pulling out stubborn nose hairs , the look on her face was priceless :)

Nail puller...handle could slam the head down to get under the nail head. Dad bought one in the 50s, I think I still have it, but not used in years..

My wife and I disassembled a 4300sq ft barn. (first barn built for commercial traffic with scales near Ft. Collins CO, which then surrounded it). It was an Iowa pattern barn. The Greeley puller is by far her favorite tool. Barn was built in 1914. Every nail out, Mostly square nails in the maple t&G loft and filled 2-35 gallon steel drums. Jim
