zip grip go......anybody use em?

Go look them up on U'tube. They do work but some states have not approved them. Cops will ticket you even though you are driving right pst them. Bozos. Covered with several videos on Utube. They are super heavy duty ti-wraps.

I bought some temporary tire chains 40 years ago, plastic crossbars and nylon belt connecting them together. They were for cars and small trucks but I used them on my garden tractor when pushing snow. They lasted one winter, one big snow storm did them in.

These zip-tie chains would last almost as long. Bet by the time you got up to 60 mph on dry pavement they would fly off.

I have customer a husband and wife team they are both doc's. They brought a 100 acre farm close to me to get out its a straight up hill long driveway even a 4X4 is no help on ice. Once they get out no problem I will pass this along to them they are both go getters installing and taking them off would be no problem for them.

Somewhat related: in 1969 GM released a V75 winter option package on their cars that contained a couple of "rattle cans" containing a "polymeric traction boosting fluid" that were mounted above the rear tires and gave them a spritz of said fluid upon driver demand. Other option components included headlamp washers, rear window defrosters, and block heaters. Apparently not too desirable as there were only about 2600 sold, primarily on Chevies. GM advertising film for this should be available on YouTube.
