I bought a Lincoln rechargeable grease gun (since I only have two arms and two legs to use when trying to grease! Crazy thing is that when I tried to change the grease tube I cannot seem to budge the rod to pull it back and lock it in the slot in order to remove the spent tube . Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?thanx

Typically you have to unscrew the cap on the discharge end slightly to break the vacuum in order to withdraw the rod.

The spring is a mite tough.
I need to get a firm grip on the body and be in a position to gain the most leverage from my arm to pull the plunger back.
I then get a dose of liquid grease on my pant legs.
