Year-A-Round cab

Pease help,

The wiring to my Year-A-Round cab shorted on my '64 IH 706.

I would like to get the heater working and can not figure out how to get to the main wiring in the cab. It is above the left front of the heater shroud but I do not want to damage the conver or any of the switches.

Does anyone out there know how to accomplish this?

Thank you

I can't speak for aftermarket cabs, but in the JD Sound Guard and White cabs, you have to tip the roof up and go in from above.

I had a Hiniker 1300 on the 4020 that I traded off in "92...pretty much a copycat of the Year-Round, both made in Mankato, MN. IIRC the headliner with the fan/heater was hinged, and tipped down inside the cab.

Thank you!

I found the two clips that was holding it up! Once the clips were pressed fully inward, the entire heater/shroud tipped forward and

I was able to rewire the entire system!

Now to find a blower motor.
