Called customer service about my lights interfering with the radio and they said my two options were to move the radio or return the lights to the store! These were the 4800 lumen lights from menards. Will be looking for new led lights and asking about interference next time! Thanks for everyone's ideas!

I have been a licensed ham radio operator sense mid 70's, I noticed sense I replaced all my lighting with led, my low bands are impossible to use. All leds have switching power supplies just like all the electronic items made sense around 1995. You can't get away from it, I use vhf,uhf higher bands to escape the noise, I don't like it but you can't get away from it, all electronics uses switching power supplies instead of the old transformer type. It's on;y going to get worse!

What brand of LED light where they so so we can stay away from that brand. All the LED bulbs and fixtures I have bought from Menards I had one fixture fail and they replaced. My shop and house are all LED except severa fixtures that they don't make bulbs for yet. I must be lucky none of mine have effected any of our radios.

Do those lights have the FCC logo on them? LED lights emit RF, and subject to FCC regulation so they don't cause radio communication interference. I suppose most of these lights are coming from china, some may not be compliant.
