Hello,

Shrimp roll, fried escarole with bread crumbs, and Parmigiano cheese, a little peperoncino. Shrimp cocktail. Fried peppers, focaccia bread. Grapes and figs for dessert. Course a glass of vino to wash it all down. Here are the pictures.....

Had my wife's home made pork BBQ, with coleslaw on loaf bread and tater chips, with my daughter's brownies left from a teacher conference. Wife cooks a picnic shoulder in the crock pot with a cup each of water and vinegar for eight hours. Gets the fat and bones out, chops it up and adds Uncle Yammy's BBQ Sauce to it. Pretty good, if I say so myself!

Hello Phil9N3667,

Sounds almost as good as my dinner He!HE! Being from the old country(Italy), my wife never learned or tried using the crack pot for cooking. We use it when we do chilly or roast beef for get togethers only.I guess I am missing out?

Guido.

Yours looks better, probly better health wise too. I'm not eating as much this week, on vacation and working on our kitchen, putting in cabinets and our first 'automatical, electricity powered' dish washer!! Ain't technology great?!

Hello Brown Swiss,

Banana peanut butter sandwich? That was Elvis favorite!

Hello RobCons,

Nothing wrong with that meal! Hope you had something good to wash it down with. You already know what my
choice would be,

Guido.

Hello larry@stinescorner,

Yes, you are right! She ( my personal chef HE!HE) stater at 8:30 this morning asking me if if was O.K. to cook what you see in the pictures. That is what she does. Been trying to get me fat for almost 1/2 century. She is finally put 4 pounds on me that I can't shed off!!!. By the way I do follow you posts, and you are and have been in my prayers. My church time is an almost a weekly event. Anyhow STAY STRONG, and I pray for your full recovery!

Guido. One thing my wife could do was cook. She Made a cheese onion soup when it was cold. With home made yeast rolls with real butter. That would put you to sleep. What ever she cooked turned out great. I added 100 pounds over the years to prove it.

Hello KCM.MN,

Hello Billy Shafer,

Sounds like my wife. I am outside in the yard, She put the exhaust fan on and the smell fills the air. Drives me crazy! Even if I am not hungry. I told her that if I bottled that smell and release it by a jail window, it would be cruel and unusual punishment for the inmates!
