I'm sorting out a friend tractor tools,he was a Ford mechanic so I suspect this to be for Fords.Although,he does have a lot of Farmall and JD dealer tooling.I can almost remember using this on a 3 point hitch, but that was in the 70's so I'm not sure.I'd like to be sure, and find out if it is even complete.

I assure you it is a Ford tool. I have one exactly like it. Lift cover adjusting gauge. You will have no trouble selling it, if you choose to do so. Let the guys down on the Ford board know you have it and it will be gone in a heartbeat.

Ok guys, I am definitely not an expert on the gray fords. I have a lot of experience on the Blue ones and that is where my little bit of expertise is. Here is a picture of the 3 Nuday tools that I have for adjusting the lift covers on the 8n -Jubilees-600 and 800 series. Lift covers have to be removed from the tractors and these gauges are bolted to the covers and adjustments are made. I also have a NCA 502 for the later models.I have a lot of special Ford tools from the N's all the way up through the 10 series that I obtained when a local dealer closed back in the late 80's, some of which I have never used and probably never will.

I'm glad I saw that picture.I found those two small cast aluminum pieces elsewhere in the garage.I would not have thrown them away, but I would not have known they can be used together.I can almost remember using the big tool years ago,I seem to remember bolting it on and running a rod or drill bit through the holes to line something up.Where it's not a real valuable tool I would just as soon have it around,$35.or $50.would soon be gone, but tools hanging around are invaluable sometimes.
