I like to pass on good experiences with companies. We have a 10 year old JennAir range. The display was getting to be so dim as to be unreadable and was beginning to throw error codes. A couple phone calls to local appliance repair shops and a little on-line research revealed that the part is no longer made, aftermarket or refurbs are available for about $250 + install labor with no guarantee/warrantee. Found a few articles on-line that made it sound as if the problem was probably capacitor related issued in the power circuit and that I should be able to replace them myself for pennies and some soldering. On my particular board the backside of the capacitors was covered by the digital display. I couldn't do the un-soldering/soldering required without removing the digital display, which looked like a bridge too far for me. I then found a TX based business called fixyourboard.com. Good reviews and sounded like they had their act together over the phone. I sent the board into them, they quoted me $159 to test, repair what was wrong, pro-actively repair anything known to be a weakness, test again, and ship back, usually within 2-3 days. Everything went exactly as planned/promised/quoted, display is working great, and it's all warranteed for 2 years. I didn't look extensively at all their services, but looks like they claim to work on electronic control boards. Most of the reviews seem to be appliance related, but I saw one for a gate opener board and several for automotive related board issues. I highly recommend them.
