My daughter has 1996 Ford Bronco All of a sudden the back
window quit working. Put in a new fuse still don't work,Has
anyone the same problem.Any help would be appreciated.

Diagnosis is the only solution. Not being there I will give you a list.
1 Use a test light or volt meter to make sure both sides of the fuse have power.
2 Look at a circuit diagram to see if there is a relay in the circuit. (if so check it for power and signal from the switch)
3 If the window is up, you will need to take off the interior trim and possible plastic barrier to access the window motor
4 If down, look into the opening to see if the glass is still on the track, or crooked in the tracks
5 If crooked, be careful to lift and push only with soft (wood/Plastic)
6 If the lift track or linkage is jammed, remove the mounts and be careful to support components when they are loose (gravity can break glass)
7 Motors should be checked with the light or meter to see if they are getting voltage (up and down)
8 repair wiring if no voltage
9 replace motor if it has failed
10 repair or replace linkage (good luck finding used)

The tailgate window is not fuse protected, there are 2 circuit breakers in the fuse box for the rear glass. The circuit breaker for the dash mounted master switch is uses the same breaker for the door window switch. The window switch (key cylinder switch) on the tailgate uses its own circuit breaker/power. So two switches to operate the window, on two different circuit breakers, probably not the problem but possible.

The master switch on the dash flows through the tailgate switch. If the master switch went bad, the tailgate switch should still work. You probably need to get into the tailgate to check the motor for power and ground, and wiring inside. There is a tailgate ajar switch in there at the latch (forgot which side) that will disable the circuit to the motor, you can test this switch by unplugging and using a jumper wire.

Summary: It sounds like the problem is inside the tailgate, either the tailgate/cylinder switch, tailgate ajar switch, wiring, or motor.

Have had 5 broncos since '79. Any that had that problem, (3 of them), it was the wires where the gate swings. It gets bent a lot if the gate is opened much. The insulation doesn't always crack but the wires break inside. Chances are that is where the problem is. Test light to the motor while someone trips the switch. Kind of a pain to remove the panel with the gate closed but the only way to access it. There is a limit switch inside the gate too. Motor is best place to start. You can remove left tail light to get at the wires before they go into the tailgate. Switch in gate should always have voltage, turn the key to supply motor power. Dash switch only has power with ign key on.
