I had started planning on going Friday and Saturday along time ago but did not get a cart lined up right away and now there are none for rent. Due to miscellaneous problems I was concerned even if I should
go but now am feeling like I would like to go but what can be used to get around there as my legs are not the best? It is eight hours of driving and 500 or so miles so car would be better than the tuck. Some
friends have a gator we could borrow but heard a comment they are not allowed. Can a cart be rented along the way?

When I was there two years ago there were a lot of Gators and ATVs being used. The show's website outlines the rules about kind of vehicles can be used and the registration fee for them.

do you need a separate proof of liability insurannce for your own cart or does the tag fee cover it?

glennster is does not say anything about insurance. I would like to know that too. I plan on taking a friend's gulf cart. The stop and go is easier on it than the Gators.

By weather radar looks like a heavy rain passed through. How much will that affect the show-- tractors with mounted pickers don't do well in mud.

I arrived yesterday (Monday) and registered as an Exhibitor and parked my RV at the far North end of the parade runway in the Northeast corner. I was NOT asked about insurance for my cart and paid $30 for a tag. This is like a Golf Cart Show where a bunch of old tractors show up lol there are hundreds and hundreds of them all over the place its really crowded.......

YT MEET FWIW I plan to be under the big flag each day around 11:15 in my dirty faded green with yellow wheels Golf Cart, or maybe Bobs red IHC Cart. Hat says John T Country Lawyer, lets chat.

Id call ahead about reserving a golf cart.

Actually its not all that neat to meet me LOL........ It was Groucho Marx who when asked to join some club replied "I would belong to no club that accepted the likes of me as a member"

Kidding aside it would be fun to meet yall..........

John T Been here since Monday

Just as an aside, I would expect any golf car rentals within 100 miles to be completely sold out for this show. Only way to be sure to get something would be to rent it near home and take it along with you.

You could always grab something off Craigslist and then sell it for what you paid for it when you get back. Heck you might even be able to sell it at the show.
