Onan generator

I have a 4000 watt 120 volt Onan generator in our 2015 motor home. It's a KY-FA/26100.
It does not start well, unless I hold the choke closed, which is a pain to get to. Is there a way to adjust the auto choke so it will close further?
Also it has a knob to adjust the altitude, if that makes any difference.

Thanks,
Dusty

I assume it's a carbureted gas model. I worked on those 20 years ago! Can you post a pic of the carb/choke? Surprised though, I thought they went to fuel injection shortly after I abandoned the industry.

I am going to try and post the instruction sheets. You could also go to smokstak. Look up the twinslan list and you can down load the service manual
for free Manual is 981-0503

Thanks Billy Shafer.
The choke was set very light, would not choke when engine was cold.
I did some adjusting, starts easy now.

Thanks again,
Dusty
