I remember when I did it years ago.
High revving engine with low mass flywheel.
Many stalled it over and over while trying to get the revs and clutch figured out.
How was yours?

Hello determined,

They said to get the R.PM.'s to 2100 and let the clutch go
slowly.I did not look at the tack just put it in gear and
went. I was in fourth gear by the end of the pits. Started at
pit 23. Slipped right in gear easy. Could have shifted it
with out the clutch,

Guido.

Hello Chris (WA),

I did have some breakfast, did wake up earlier then a farmer though😉. Also it would have been hard to shift gears on an empty stomach HE!HE!
MY cheeks are still hurting from smiling. 600+ H.P. under you WILL do that for you. I left my phone to my family, not a single picture in it. They took plenty on theirs though. I will post when I get them,

Guido.

Hello Big tee,

They're coming. I left my phone to the pit crew, not a single picture on It😙. They took them on their phone, post them when I get them

Hello 1130Leo,

You went faster then me.Between 120 and 140 for me. There are other rides that will let you go faster.....next time for sure. The car will hit 200 to 205 in the front stretch. The pace car is the limit according to what ride you get. In my ride there was the pace car myself and a third car only. The one behind me could not keep up and dropped out on the first lap. I was wondering why the car in front of me was going so slow?. The did not tell me that it was the pace car. You can also purchase a ride along, and go top speed. A blast either way,

Guido.

Hello,

It's me through the front stretch. This is a picture that the track photographer took as part of the package. I just took a picture of it,

When I was a GM salesman around 1993, a new generation of Camaros and Firebirds came out. A crew from GM came out with a half dozen Firebirds, I forget the model, but they were Firebirds with the Trans Am engine and suspension and a six speed manual trans.

They'd laid out a mile long road course around the casinos in Council Bluffs, IA. Each salesman rode two laps as a passenger with a professional driver driving, then got four laps driving with the pro driver as a passenger. I was just getting the feel of the car, and getting into it and smoking the tires in the turns when my four laps were over.

It was a blast, though. The driver told me they got about 4,000 miles out of a set of tires.

When we drove up and saw a table full of crash helmets with an ambulance standing by with the engine idling, I said this was gonna be my kind of sales meeting.

Hello Goose,

No ambulance there. May be I was not looking. 100% safety record and the cars are tuned for the track.
The intructor said that the cars won't turn right very well, but they turn left and go fast,!
