brazed hydraulic tube fittings

i damaged a few 1/2 " hydraulic tubes on my dozer. i'm not having much luck finding a source for male JIC hydraulic tube fittings that braze on the tubing. i have removed, and reused a few from the old tubes but need a few more. i would rather replace the tubes than use hydraulic hose. anyone have a idea where a guy could find a dozen or so? thanks for the help.

looks like a shop i spoke with earlier in the week has come through with the fittings. figures soon as i posted looking for help, i'd find some. should have posted monday i guess haha. thanks

I have many times brazed steel hydraulic lines on our bulldozer when rusted through and also some other hydraulic fittings where appropriate and accessable. 100 % sucessful.

Thet are usually quite a few for sale Ebay, my son just bought a bagfull. Also locally we have a place called Mid state hose and fitting. They have them in stock. Search that name and Columbus OH for info

Tomkins Industries Pella, Iowa has hydraulic lines and fittings. They specialize in these products. Give them a call at 800-255-1008

i tried but had clearance issues in the way the hoses are secured. would have been a lot easier. had incident with dozer. flattened all the hydraulic tubes on one side. while it will be a lot of work, just probably better to build new lines. thanks for the idea.

I've found with steel hydraulic tubes its usually much cheaper and easier to just replace them. We have a Pettibone factory about 40 miles away who will bend and flare tubes for dirt cheap. Many hydraulic shops, and heavy equip dealers also do the same.
